Enjoy this one week stay at a delightful summer cottage in Chester, Nova Scotia, a historic seaside village, rich in tradition and hospitality, founded in 1759.  The nearby waters of Mahone Bay and its numerous islands are well known for yachting and have made the area a cruising destination. Less than an hour's drive from Halifax, Chester is noted for sailing, golf, art galleries, live theater productions and its relaxing lifestyle.  The house has three bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths , dining room, kitchen, outdoor patio and grill and a fireplace. Four (4) bikes are available at the house as well as a bike trailer and jogging stroller.  The house has TV and DVD player.  Located in the center of town, the cottage is a block from the front harbor and the town's shops and restaurants.  The Chester Golf Club is an 18-hole course with many holes on the bay. Enjoy the town's free seawater fed pool and a small beach where the bay water is considered the warmest water north of Virginia at 65-70 degrees.  A band plays every Sunday night at the town's gazebo.  United offers direct flights from Dulles to Halifax. Flight is about 2 hours. It is available in July or August except 7/18/2008 - 8/2/2008.
