Description

The Virginia Fall Race weekend is rich in the tradition of the understated elegance and sportsmanship of steeplechase racing.  It is one of Middleburg's premier sporting and social events on the fall calendar. Enjoy a wonderful family oriented afternoon with exciting equestrian events and the thrills of steeplechase in a genteel atmosphere.  This popular sign up event is a NPS favorite, and is graciously hosted by the Clarkes, Huntingtons and Mortons.   Missy Huntington's brother, Thomas Kirlin, a huge hit with the kids, will once again share his racing knowledge. Mr. Kirlin is a retired amateur steeplechase jockey and won three point-to-point year-end championships as owner/rider/trainer. He owns over 14 horses and trains several of them for each steeplechase season.
