Ms. Krentel's PK students asked to have this book read to them over and over. This book is wonderful because it teaches children ideas about the writing process. It also makes the reader think they have an impact on the story's plot, for example, when you turn one of the pages the words fall over because you turned the page. It reminds Ms. Krentel of the movie The Never Ending Story where the boy becomes part of the story he is reading. The pig in the story has such cute rude remarks to the reader that makes the students laugh and laugh. It is enjoyable experience for all who read it.
