Description

A perfect champagne! Champagne Pannier Brut Selection is a classic Champagne founded by Louis Eugene Pannier in 1899 in Dizy, next to Epernay. In 1937, his son purchased medieval cellars in Château-Thierry in the Marne Valley and moved his thriving Champagne house. A group of wine growers purchased Champagne Pannier and the cellars in 1974. The Archer, symbol of Champagne Pannier, was carved into its medieval cellars in the 14th century. This emblem represents Pannier's values and winemaking style: elegance, uprightness and balance. This vintage is blended from a majority of Chardonnay with equal parts Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This Selection cuvee of first press wine has been aged a minimum of 3 years before release. Mediumfull in body, it offers a yeasty nose and rich flavors of apple, lemon, vanilla, ginger and baked bread. Elegant and balanced, it lingers pleasingly on the finish. A delightful celebratory champagne worthy of the special occasion in 2012.

Special Instructions

Through the generosity of Ashley and Mike Meece, Colleen and Andy Fisher, Joanna and Mark Goodin, and especially selected by Schneiders of Capitol Hill with the input of Ned Rubenstein and Tony Everett, we present you with this Wine Surprise! For each grade two special wines were selected from a vintage corresponding to the grade's birth years that is recommended for drinking the year your child graduates from NPS! We salute the children in each of our grades and toast to their journey through NPS. Enjoy!  Bidding will be available at the auction event only.
