About the artist: Paul Roberson, (1933-1983) always described his work as “Non-Objective”.   A native of Virginia, he studied art at the University of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University, American University, and in Paris with Roger Barr.  While teaching drawing, sculpting, ceramics, painting and printmaking in Fairfax County for twenty-five years, he explored in his own work concepts of texture and color through mixed-media acrylic paintings and collograph prints.
