More than 700 years ago the Catholic Church entrusted the guardianship of the Holy Land to the Franciscans. Enjoy this guided pilgrimage to the Holy Land of America located at the Franciscan Monastery, A National Historic Site in Washington, DC. Pilgrimage will be led by Franciscan Friar of the Holy Land and will tour beautiful Church of Mount St. Sepulchre which includes shrines to St Francis and St Anthony of Padua, St Joseph, Blessed Mother and Calvary. Group will go below the church to view replicas of early Christian catacombs found in Rome as well as Christ's Birth in Nazareth, and the monastery gardens. Trip will end with lunch at Ellis Island Restaurant and Pub in the Brookland section of Washington, DC.
