Cozy and comfortable, it boasts a year round beautiful views of the wild Illinois river rapids. A few steps off the deck lies a wood fired hot tub (seasonal only). Electricity is generated using natural resources, solar power and bank of batteries. Propane powers a stove, hot water heater and refrigerator. Rental includes an unlimited amount of firewood, the kitchen has all the spices, plates, bowls and outdoor barbeque. Just bring food and Sleeping bags. Nice safe place for kids to explore, and fun catching things like, small snakes and lizards. Local evening entertainment provided by insect controlling bats. Sleep away the afternoon on the hammock tucked away under the trees.
