The grapes for this case of wine came from Jim Pratt's Irwin Lane vineyard located on the southern end of the Santa Rosa plane.  Grapes grown here benefit from warm days and cool nights with morning fog which helps to lengthen the growing season and retain natural acidity in the resulting wine.  Only 150 cases of 2005 Irwin Lane Merlot were bottle and we expect you'll enjoy it.
