See our planet like you’ve never seen it before!  Planet Earth is the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning BBC nature documentary co-produced by Alastair Forthergill and the Discovery Channel.  It was aired on the television network as an 11 part series.  The first episode provides a general overview of each environment featured, drawing emphasis on the great variety of which our world consists.  The other 10 episodes highlight one natural habitat’s flora and fauna, giving special attention to animals and locations never before filmed.  The DVD was also included on Oprah Winfrey’s 2007 Favorite Things List.
