Description

More than 300 thousand cardiac arrests occur in the U.S each year but only one quarter of those receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)! Let's increase those odds by learning CPR. Learn how to care for victims of all ages (infants, children, adults): rescue breathing, CPR, first aid for choking, recognizing signals of a heart attack, reducing the risk of injury to infants and children. You will learn how to respond to choking and cardiac arrest victims, practice chest compressions on manikins, and learn how to operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) --- (those red boxes you see in airports and other public places). The same class through the American Red Cross costs $72. Our class is exclusively for the LCS community and offers this same Red Cross curriculum followed by a hearty artery-clogging breakfast! Should be fun!
