Scott is a LCS dad and a full-time artist. He specializes in painting outdoors, "en plein air."  He recently won top prizes at painting events in Colorado and California, as well as Aitkin and Grand Marais, Minnesota.  He has painted in Mexico, Canada, Italy and England, but can often be seen painting on the southwest side of Lake Harriet (across form Lucinda Anderson's house!).  This framed painting, "Lilypads," was created from a field study painted on Webb Lake, Wisconsin.  Yes, he was sitting in a canoe at the time.
