Rated 94 points by La Cave d'Argent, this Port is opaque black/purple, and sports an intense nose of spicy blackberries, currants and vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate, with medium sweetness for a Port, medium acidity, huge tannins and similar black fruit-dominated flavors as for the nose. Long, smooth finish. Drinkable now, or could be cellared for at least five more years.
