Description

An original (and hilarious!) drawing from New Yorker cartoonist David Sipress's contributions to the Shambhala Sun. His skewering of buddhism manages to hit the funny bone with unfailing consistency and accuracy. No one pokes reverence in the 'revere' quite like him. We feel lucky to have David's work in our magazine, and now you can have it in your home.

David's cartoons appear regularly in The New Yorker and many other magazines. He has authored eight books of cartoons and is the writer, producer, and host of "Conversations with Cartoonists," an ongoing series of performances featuring humor and interviews with great New Yorker cartoonists. David has been interested in Buddhism for many years, and considers it an excellent source of jokes.

"Been there, done that"; pen and ink on paper.
