Description

Around the World in a Daze. Half Case of Wine with a Bottle from Each of 6 Countries,

Ciao!
2006 Villagiachi Pinot Grigio - Delle Venezie, Italy.
Mountain-fresh, crisp, pure Pinot Grigio plucked from vineyards in the shadows of the Dolomite Alps. Sublime aromas of peach, pear and lime accentuate the medium body and lush, fruit flavors. Enjoy well-chilled. Particularly good pairings are grilled vegetables, light pasta dishes and pan-seared fish.

Guten Tag!
2006 Weinhaus Lang Kreuznacher Kronenberg Spatlese – Nahe, Germany.
Delicious apricot and honey aromas are an indication of the quality of this Muller Thurgau and Silvaner blend. With a medium body and smooth finish, it offers a lively palate with a delicate fruitiness. Winemaker Hans Lang personally recommends spicy Asian cuisine or bold cheeses to enjoy the delightful character of this wine.

Hey!
2002 Kiona Proprietary Blend Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot - Columbia Valley, Washington, USA.
Aromas of dark cherry and raspberry spark the full fruit flavors and body in this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Perfect with grilled or roasted meats and hearty baked pastas. Try with a mushroom-stuffed round roast with crisp, steamed vegetables.

Hola!
2006 Augustinos Reserve Carmenere - Rapel Valley, Chile.
One of the finest wine regions in Chile provides this wine's luscious cherry and dark plum notes. A platinum finish of dense, concentrated fruit will seem to linger forever. Augustinos Estate suggests pairing this wine with spicy red sauces and barbecued meats.

G’day!
2005 McWilliams, Shiraz Hanwood Estate – Australia.
From Coonwara sources among others. Fragrant plum and raspberry fruit aromas are combined with background mocha and vanilla oak characters. Strong fruit palate with ripe berry, juicy plum and spicy fruit flavors supported by a hint of mocha and cedar oak nuances. A warm and generous palate that has a solid backbone which supports the fruit that is present in the wine.

Molweni!
2007 Robertson Winery Pinotage, South Africa
Full fruity with berry flavors and a full, dry aftertaste. The wine is produced in an early drinking style, primarily fruit flavors of cherry and blackberry with juicy aromas of plums. It has very soft tannins and good balancing acidity. Serving suggestions: Compliments beef roast, stews, lamb, venison, pasta and steak.
