10 Swim Class at Rivington Street's Seahorse Swim Club. Those in the know don't want me to wax poetic about this find, because well this spot is kind of Lower East Side special, nary a Yuppie to be found.
But then again they do want this magical place to last. Tommy is great, and don't miss swim instructor Harvey who soothes kids with his baritone singing voice.
Temperature of the pool: 85-90
Heated pool from 3ft7in deep to 10 ft deep, and 5 swimming lanes.
Boy's and Girl's locker rooms with showers .
