Lollipops, precious hard-candy bites and finger rings infused with gold are some of the results. Cinnamon, strawberry and licorice are among the natural flavors; essential oils like mint, anise and lime are also used. Papabubble is the creation of Christopher King, pulling candy above, and Tommy Tang, Australians who started making candy in Sydney. They sold the Australian shops and opened Papabubble in Barcelona, Amsterdam and Tokyo. Ms. Ryan had worked in the Barcelona shop. Mr. Tang and Mr. King are in New York to help get things started.
