This local, affordable ballet school comes HIGHLY recommended by several of our kindergarten moms.

Owner/instructor Melissa Marotto has been dancing for over 20 years. Most recently, Ms. Marotto headed the dance department at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. At Chelsea Piers, she also worked as the assistant to the girls' gymnastics team, as a rock-climbing guide and as a recreational and pre-school gymnastics instructor. In opening The Chrystie Street Ballet Academy, Ms. Marotto has proudly achieved her goal of sharing her extensive artistic knowledge and passion with the youth community of Manhattan.
