Fund a Need 2008 Last year, Fund a Need raised $29,000 for the Art and Music programs at the Lycée Français La Pérouse. These dollars were used for stage improvements on all three campuses, contributed to the purchase of a baby grand piano to be used for concerts and performances, and helped create and expand six-week classes in art or music for the primary campuses.  This year, we ask for your support as we continue to make enhancements that benefit our children. 

Ashbury and Corte Madera campuses – Playground Improvements and Equipment Decades of research has documented that play has a crucial role in the optimal growth, learning, and development of children. Because play often involves physical activity, it is closely related to the development and refinement of children's gross and fine motor skills and their body awareness. As children vigorously and joyfully use their bodies in physical exercise, they simultaneously refine and develop skills that enable them to feel confident, secure, and self-assured. 

Ortega campus – Smart Boards Our 6-12^th grade teachers use new technology such as Smart Boards to enhance their curriculum.      With these new tools they are able to integrate multiple sources of information at once, opening the world to our students.
