CBI’s own Roger Stein will conduct a private guided tour and discussion of the current exhibition at the University of Virginia Art Museum, "The Landscape of Slavery: The Plantation in American Art.” Roger is a former Professor of American Art History at UVa and has done exhibitions there and nationally on American cultural themes. This is an exciting exhibit and Roger looks forward to sharing his knowledge about its content. He will discuss the material in the show, the tough but challenging questions it poses and the various points of view towards its subject matter. You will also get behind the scenes insight on how the show is put together and how such an exhibition is constructed. This is a special opportunity for you and up to two guests to see this wonderful exhibition.

Please note that the exhibit will be here until April 20th only and regular Museum hours are 1-5 p.m., Tuesday – Sunday. Within this timeframe Roger will be very flexible to find a mutually convenient time.
