One 3'x5' silk Indian hand woven Kashmiri carpet, woven in Agra, India.  This beautiful vase and garden design is in predominately red floral motif with black accents, with four borders and a black border guard.  The silk is hand tied in approximately 300 hand knotted knots to the inch (fine).  The carpet was purchased at the Harish Carpet Company in Agra in 1989.  Hand knotted silk is the finest product made in oriental rugs, and it is in mint, like new, condition, with a very lovely patina and pleasing composition.
