The Kids on the Block are a troupe of puppets that teach about disabilities, educational differences, social concerns, medical differences, and safety issues. They are a special bunch of kids and a very special group of puppets. They dress and act like real children.

Like real children, each one has definite likes and dislikes, hopes and fear, talents and limitations. And, like real children, some have differences like mental, physical or emotional disabilities, and some have lives touched by abuse, drugs or divorce. Together, the Kids on the Block form the core of a unique and exciting education program.

The 45-minute presentation includes the puppet show of your choice and the Q & A period between the puppets and the audience.  Post activities can be provided for enrichment to be done by the organization.

The Kids on the Block, now internationally acclaimed, has continued to grow over the years and offers programs on disabilities such as spina bifida and visual impairment, medical differences such as leukemia and AIDS; educational differences including learning disabilities and ADHD, and social concerns including sexual abuse prevention, and alternatives to violence.
