Description

Colorful Hide'N'Seek pin by artist JoeSam. This colorful lady is hiding her eyes with her hands. On her dress is the word "art".  The theme of the pin is "A giant game of Hide'N'Seek among the columns of a freeway bridge. There are no cultures on earth, where children do not play a form of this universal game".

This is a limited edition pin that is a miniature version of a sculpture he created for a Public Art Commission.

Original artwork owned and commissioned by Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority and is sited at the Rosa Parks Metro Rail Station in Los Angeles, CA. Completion date 1995.

All pins were limited editions - new pin designs replaced old ones as figures were developed for commissions. They were hand painted in a workshop for Asian-Americans with disabilities. Pin measures approx. 3-1/2" H x 1-1/2" W.
