Colorful Leaping Lady pin by artist JoeSam. She is taking a leaping stride forward in her multi-colored dress, tights and shoes. The predominant colors are yellow, blue and red. One leg has the word "love" on its side.  The theme of the pin is: "People in motion - all different but briefly sharing a space and a motivation".

This is a limited edition pin that is a miniature version of a sculpture he created for a Public Art Commission.

Original artwork owned and commissioned by The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority and is sited at the West Park Rapid Transit Station, Cleveland, OH. Completion date: 1996.

All pins were limited editions - new pin designs replaced old ones as figures were developed for commissions. They were hand painted in a workshop for Asian-Americans with disabilities. Pin measures approx. 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".
