This abstract expressionistic work represents being in the dark and then as students learn, working their way towards a goal or “bright light.”

It was created as a collaborative process by Village Glen West students in Ms. Guillaume’s Bridge Science Class and Art Club.

Artists ranged in age from 12 to 15 years old.

The finished, unframed canvas is 30” x 40”

Art materials used in the creation of the unique work include acrylic paints and gel mediums.
