Purple Glaze Studio has hundreds of unfinished ceramic pieces to paint… bowls, plates, mugs, candleholders, vases, picture frames, and critters! Or choose from one of the many mosaic projects. Purple glaze studio creations make a great personalized gift.  For the creativity challenged they will hold your hand throughout the whole process. They have stencils, sponges, stamps, and a computer generated idea center to help you with design ideas. Typically, customers will paint with an underglaze. The piece is then left at the studio to glaze and fire. This process makes each item food safe and dishwasher safe and normally takes about three days. This method is recommended for plates, cups, bowls and other items that will actually be used. As another option, Purple Glaze Studio will provide an acrylic stain and spray sealer for the ceramic project. By using this method, students may take their work with them when they leave. Stains work very well on their critters, dogs, cats, monkeys, birds, dragons, frogs, lizards, and fish.
