Thunderbird Riding Stables enjoys a high volume of repeat customers. They will provide you and your party a step back in time to the "old frontier days". A simpler life where you can forget your worries and enjoy the smell of freshly mown hay; the sound of cowboy boots stomping across a wood plank porch; the creak of the saddle as you rock to and fro down the trail.
Thunderbird Riding Stables offers "open riding" which means you are not guided. They have over 500 acres of lush wooded trails, lake side trails and wild flower pastures. As you ride down the trail you are likely to see wild turkey, numerous deer, rabbits and squirrels. As you circle the trail around "Turtle Pond" you are likely to see cranes, geese, ducks and an occasional coyote.
