Touching America has been preparing students to begin their new found careers in massage therapy for fifty years. The school was founded as Hot Springs School of Therapeutic Technologies by Hot Springs resident and Physical therapist, Fred Farmere and his wife Martha. Martha was an instructor at the school and continued on as Director preceding her husband's death in 1976.  In 1981, Martha moved the school to the Little Rock area where Touching America is now located in the beautiful historic Hillcrest district of Little Rock.
