Long one of northwest Arkansas's favorite layouts, Prairie Creek Country Club offers 18 of the most challenging holes of golf that you can find. Founded in 1968, the public course offers bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways. The Par 72 course has a 90° rule for golf carts and walking is allowed.
A challenging Joe Sanders design cut through the scenic Ozark mountains, Prairie Creek Country Club rewards long, accurate hitters and expert putters. The upper nine runs along the top of a hill, the bottom nine is in a valley where the wind always seems to be in your face. Though not the longest course around, its slope and USGA ratings testify to its inherent toughness.
On June 8, 2000, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reviewed Prairie Creek Country Club and named it the 9th best public course in Arkansas.
