Bring your junior firefighters (up to 4 kids and 2 adults) on a private tour of the Engine 56 Firehouse at 2214 W. Barry. Chicago Firefighters (and Audubon Parents) Phil Holzman and Meg Ahlheim have offered to take your group through the hose tower, sleeping quarters, kitchen, and the engine, of course. In addition to the tour, the Engine 56 firefighters have a unique itinerary in store for you, including a firefighter chore, lunch with the firefighters and some specially designed activities your junior firefighter has only dreamt of! Included is an Honorary Firefighter for a Day Certificate" and an unframed 8x10 of each participant 1)on the fire engine, 2)with their firefighter tour guides, or 3) wearing real firefighter equipment. Each participant will also walk away with a few other special surprises.
