Remember the campaign, where that guy Howard Dean, ran for president? And remember how we brought 3000 people to Iowa to to talk voters into voting for him? And we made everyone wear orange hats (one of which, Tim Russert tried to steal?) And we named the whole thing after a natural disaster? And then it became one? Those were the DAYS!

As a member of the Perfect Storm inner circle, I had the opportunity to get lots of fun schwag. The best of which, of course, was the hats. Most people had orange hats. The group leaders and admin staff, however, got yellow and red hats. And one lucky person is about to get there own Yellow Perfect Storm winter hat, a rare and magical piece of political history.
