Enjoy the peace and quiet of our charming little house in one of Costa Rica's most popular resort towns!

"The House Among the Trees" is our wonderful green retreat in the heart of Tamarindo — and we'd love to share it with other Vermont Stage fans! The house is only a few minutes' walk from lively restaurants and shops, but it's nestled down among banana, papaya, and Guanacaste trees on the edge of a protected "green zone." Tropical birds will serenade you during the day, and at night the sound of the surf will lull you to sleep. Every morning, you'll wake up in a sleeping loft with panoramic windows on three sides looking out over the treetops. For breakfast, you can dine alfresco on fresh mangoes and pineapples on our large shady terrace, while families of monkeys play in a nearby tree.

Casa de los árboles is only five minutes' walk from Tamarindo Beach, which is known for its warm Pacific waters, safe swimming areas, and great waves.

The house is fully furnished with high-quality furniture and has cable, internet, and air conditioning, on-site free laundry, built-in safe, and a roomy bathroom with hot water. Kitchen appliances and equipment, sheets, towels, and two comfy hammocks are all provided. The house is the perfect size for a couple but you could probably find room for a kid or two as well, if people don't mind getting a little cozy!

Dogs are welcome provided they are well-behaved and promise not to hurt the resident cats.
