Jean Nevin was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has a BA from the State University of New York at Albany.  She lived in Indianaplis for many years, where she taught printmaking and papermaking at the Indianapolis Art Center and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  Now living in Albuquerque, NM, she is currently creating unique artist books.

Jean has exhibited nationally in numberous juried shows across the country and internationaaly at the Florence Biennale in Italy.  She is a signature member of the Society of Layerists in Multi Media, ans has been listed "Who's Who of American Women" since 1991.
