Babe's made its reputation on juicy fried chicken and authentic chicken-fried steak. Now it's added four more entrees: chicken fingers, fried catfish, pot roast and smoked chicken.

Eating at Babe's is almost as much occasion as meal. There's a greeter at the front door and another to show you to your seat inside. When someone has a birthday, the staff gathers 'round, plops a chicken hat on the celebrant's head and sings a birthday song.
