River Bend Nature Center is located in Wichita Falls, Texas at 2200 3rd Street near the entrance to city's largest municipal recreational area, Lucy Park. River Bend offers over 15 acres of trails, wetlands and ponds to walk and enjoy.  Come discover which bird species spend the winter in our woods or what creatures prowl our trails by night.  

Initially conceived and built as a home for native butterflies, the Ruby N. Priddy Conservatory has grown far beyond a butterfly house since it opened to the public in the spring of 2007. Visitors will find a fascinating cross-section of the plants, insects, and other animals that make their living on five ecoregions of Texas and Southern Oklahoma.
