19" high with a 41" x 19" plexiglass cover.
Artist John R.G. Roth was raised in the Chicago area.
Undergraduate BS degree: Northern Michigan University, Marquette
Teaching certificates in Art and Industrial Arts
Taught K-6th Art in a four room school house in Upper Peninsula of Michigan
Graduate degree MFA in painting and Sculpture: University of Wisconsin – Madison, 1990
Roth has held positions as a maintenance mechanic in a chemical plant, foundry and a furniture factory. He has worked as a construction worker and on dairy farms. He was also employed nine years in a research lab fabricating models, prototypes, one of a kind machines as well as destructive testing. Currently, he is an assistant professor of sculpture at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. John Roth has an active exhibition record including shows in NY, London, Chicago, Philadelphia and Minneapolis.

This artwork may be viewed at Old Dominion University's Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries (4509 Monarch Way, Norfolk). This item will be available for pick-up at our auction's closing celebration, to be held at Richard Stravitz Sculpture (1217 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach) on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 1:00-5:00 pm. If not picked up in person, the item will be mailed to the winning bidder no later than Wednesday, Dec. 10. Packing and shipping charges (with signature and insurance) will be added to the winning bid.
