Description

15" x 11" etching by April Taylor-MartinThe etching was created in conjunction with the recent exhibition at the Chrysler Museum of Art, "Rembrandt's Etchings: The Embrace of Darkness and Light".


The winning bidder will also receive a Rembrandt T-shirt (Large), and the book Rembrandt as Printmaker (Hayward Gallery, 2006, 96 pages)


Taylor-Martin is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University, and an Art Education Contractor at the Chrysler Museum of Art.

Special Instructions

This artwork may be viewed at Old Dominion University's Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries (4509 Monarch Way, Norfolk).


This item will be available for pick-up at our auction's closing celebration, to be held at Richard Stravitz Sculpture (1217 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach) on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 1:00-5:00 pm.  If not picked up in person, the item will be mailed to the winning bidder no later than Wednesday, Dec. 10.  Packing and shipping charges (with signature and insurance) will be added to the winning bid.
