In 1984, Fenton created a facisimile of an 1880s Stevens & Williams Cameo piece.  This piece was sold through Avon's Gallery Original catalog.  Bill Fenton recalled that at the unveiling the Fenton vase looked so much like the original that he had checked to see which one was which!
