One of our nation's most popular spectator sports, NASCAR®, continues to grow in popularity. Thomas Kinkade has been officially licensed to paint the commemorative portrait of the 50th Running of the DAYTONA 500®. 

The Thomas Kincaid sketch study titled “History in the Making” represents the 50th running of the Daytona 500 with signatures of Ryan Newman (winner of the 2008 Daytona 500) and Kyle Petty.  This unique sketch study print is 16” x 20” finished size, suitable for framing and includes a Thomas Kinkade Certificate of Authenticity.  Several pieces of confetti from the actual winner’s circle celebration have been added noting “Daytona 500, 50 years, The Great American Race 2.17.08”.
