Description: I did a series of photographs after September 11, 2001. Flags were displayed everywhere. The Flag photo on the house in the neighborhood of Polish Hill in Pittsburgh is my favorite. The flag juxtaposed with the images of Halloween foretells images of savagery in the years ahead.

Special Instructions
Larry Rippel has worked in the Photgraphic Community in Pittsburgh for the last twenty years. Since 1994, he has been working as a Freelance Photographer specializing in Commercial, Technology, Industrial, and Editorial Photography. His interest in the Arts Community has him working for many Non-profit Arts organizations and Artists in the city.
Larry is one of the founding members of Blatant Image/Silver Eye Photography Gallery. He had a Mail Art Gallery in his loft in Bloomfield in the mid-1980s.
