Great food, great people, great music and the Cultural Council's office in the historic Theatre Plaza Building on 14th Ave is located in the heart of the party!  

On June 27th, Downtown Friday's Bike Nite salutes the Red, White and Blue as it features Americana....baseball, bikes, apple pie and, of course, live music and children's activities. All of the action is on 14th Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets in historic downtown Vero Beach from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Your sponsorship of the Cultural's Council open house for the June 27th Downtown Friday Nite will be rewarded with a sign that evening acknowledging your sponsorship in addition to being included in a listing of our sponsors.

Your support of the Cultural Council's open house during this event will help the Cultural Council fulfil its mission to nuture a coooperative environment in which cultural and educational organizations and individuals may thrive and thereby enrich the quality of life in Indian River for all residents and visitors.

What does the Cultural Council of Indian River do? 

The CCIRC serves a public purpose, providing public benefits in the arena of culture and art in our community for all residents and visitors 

  • Provides a Cultural Information Center in Downtown Vero Beach, with an extensive display of event information for walk in visitors. 
  • Provides the largest nonprofit support network in Indian River County, with 90 members of the Cultural Advisory Committee. 
  • Encourages collaboration and partnerships that maximize limited resources through the Brown Bag Program. 
  • Serves as a support system for local artists; connect art buyers with artists.  
  • Maintains an active Public Art Program in the County Courthouse and other venues.    
  • Publicizes our member’s events through a partnership with Falasiri Oriental Rugs.  
  • Collaborates with the Indian River Chamber of Commerce to produce an extensive calendar of events. 
  • Maintains an informative website with descriptions and links for all our members. 
  • Works with the Chamber of Commerce to promote Cultural Tourism, placing ads in national and regional publications and brochures at all Florida Welcome Centers. 
  • Collects & distributes revenue collected from the Arts License Plates.
