Meauring 78" high by 90"long by 62"wide, Gabeh Chapel"by local artist Rita Bernstein, was created for the Cultural Council's "Inspired Art:A Magical Journey Through Oriental Rugs" where artists were inspired to create their original art in the medium of their choice from a rug from Falasari Oriental Rugs, the Presenting Sponsor.

Ms. Bernstein chose a contemporary wool rug from Iran and describes her inspiration as follows: "My carpet sung in ancient chanting drones to me.  I designed a small sacred space, a tent in which one may change or sing praises, contemplate and medicate in privacy, dance in small ways and celebrate within its colorful silken walls."

Gabbeh Chapel is a silk textile tent consisting of four panels and supports.
