This beautiful acrylic painting by local Rocky River artist Ned Huffman,  is reminiscent of the old world Dutch landscapes that grace the homes of many Europeans. The delicate brushstrokes and realistic painterly manner combine with the peaceful subject matter to remind one of a gentle summer day in a slower and more relaxed period of time. The painting was created from memories of visits to the Netherlands by the artist. Many of his paintings are created as a result of his travels and are frequently landscapes and still lifes. He has shown at numerous local galleries and recently had a show in the Chagrin Falls area.
