Description

Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) State Trustee Bill Lowe and his wife. Tami, invite you to obtain this authentic piece of Farm Bureau history in time for the organization’s 90th anniversary. "I have collected agricultural signs for over 35 years and have only seen four in this condition," Bill said. "And condition is everything in advertizing memorabilia collecting." Bill has an example of this sign hanging in his farm office. Another example was donated to the American Farm Bureau Foundation two years ago, and a third sign was donated for sale in the 2006 edition of this auction. The fourth sign is lost to history. The sign is marked "Copyright Eugene U. Knight and Staff Chicago 1920." In later years the Knight Company and the Scioto Sign Company would merge and all operations moved to Kenton, Ohio. Other Farm Bureau member signs would be produced by Scioto Sign over the decades, but none like the one offered.  The sign measures 6 ½" x 13".
