One of the two David finalists of the seventh season of AMERICAN IDOL, David Archuleta came in second to David Cook, but, in time-honored IDOL tradition, being runner-up still insured the teen singer of a promising career. This 2008 self-titled debut plays to Archuleta's strengths, effectively showcasing his mellifluous voice and straightforward-pop tendencies, most notably on the hit single "Crush."
