Description
2002 Penfolds St. Henri Shiraz
South Australia Powerful cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, tobacco and Asian spices on the nose, with lovely floral accents. Lush, superconcentrated and remarkably deep, showing an almost candied sweetness to the dark berry flavors, along with fruitcake and licorice notes. Finishes with supple tannins and superb length.
Penfolds Yattarna Chardonnay (2005)
"The palate is deceptively substantial! The layered complexity is finely balanced with mineral and slate flavours. Intense quince, loquat and grapefruit flavours and mouth-watering acidity are balanced by chalky phenolics."

Shiraz fruit aromas; fresh blueberry pie and blood plum. A barrel-fermented vapor net entraps scents of cinnamon and nutmeg, violet and bergamot. Flirting strawberry yogurt and freshly cut rhubarb aromatics unwittingly entice.
