The Grundig FR200 is self-powered - No batteries required! Simply flip out the side Hand Crank and give it a quick 60 turns (in just a couple of minutes). The Grundig FR200 emergency radio can operate for up to one hour with just one minute of cranking. Its built-in generator means that even in the most desperate situations, you can still have access to local news and information as well as to news from around the world.
The Grundig FR200 receives AM (530-1710 kHz), FM 88-108 MHz and shortwave in two bands: 3.2-7.6 and 9.2-22 MHz. You can keep informed with both local and international radio stations.
The Grundig FR200 operates from a wind-up generator, 3 x LR6 or 3 AA batteries. The generator charges the supplied, replaceable NIMH cells.
