Description
Enjoy these two delicious Pinot Noirs from Newberg!
2007 Berstrom Winery Block Pinot Noir
The wine is intensely packed with rich fruit jam flavors, dried fruits, savory earth tones, plums, cherries and a smooth chocolaty finish. The finish is long and enveloped in ripe dusty tannins, which show some huge potential for the future.
Drink this wine from 2009 through 2017 and it will be perfect with herb-crusted lamb, rabbit, sausages and mushroom dishes as well as imported and domestic artisan cheeses.
This wine was made available to Wine Club Members only and is completely sold out! The Wine Spectator rated the 2007 Winery Block 92.
2006 Shea Wine Cellars Pommard Clone Pinot Noir
The Pommard Clone release is all about red fruit with fine tannins and structure. Flavors of toasted blackberries, white pepper and chocolate combine in a beautiful package. As always, the Pommard Clone is a very forward wine ready to be enjoyed right now or cellared.
The Wine Spectator rated the 2006 Pommard Clone 93.
