A Santa Maria wine excursion. Two couples will be lodged for three extraordinary nights at the Foxen Creek Ranch Guest House, the private residence of Cambria proprietors Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson. This secluded, luxury ranch guest house offers panoramic views of vineyards, pastures and the rolling hills of Santa Barbara County.

• A special wine-pairing dinner at the Hitching Post restaurant (of Sideways fame) in nearby Buellton.
