Description

Butcher Tom Mylan will take you through how to cut up a half a pig, while explaining where common and some uncommon cuts come from on the animal. He will be using a farm-raised pig from Fleisher's meats in Kingston, NY. Everything you ever wanted to know about butchering a pig.




  • Two spots in any Pig Butchering demonstration, hosted by butcher Tom Mylan. Each spot earns 6-8 pounds of pastured Berkshire Hog from Fleisher's Meats in Kingston, NY.



Brooklyn Kitchen is a no-frills place that is quite well stocked with the finest quality cookware. From cast-iron skillets, rolling pins, spatulas, baking dishes, cookie cutters, casseroles, electric appliances and assorted gadgets they will also add items as customers request them.
