Description

Armed with a fasball, slider and devastating split-finger pitch, "Black Jack" Morris was a five-time All-Star with a career record of 245-186 and 2,478 career strikeouts.  Jack's pitching talent and competitive nature helped him accomplish four Wolrd Series championships, including the championship with the Twins in 1991.  In a postseason performance for the ages, the 36 year old hurler, known throughout his careers as a clutch "big game" pitcher, lived up to his reputation by throwing 10 innings of shutout baseball against the Braves in game 7, leading the Twins to the World Series title.  This figurine created by Pepsi-Cola captures Black Jack with his bushy mustache winding up to throw another split-finger pitch.  The figurine stands about 7" tall and comes boxed with a brief history of Morris' career and stats.
